Promotional item


This image is my promotional item of a postcard which I thought that would be quite interesting to use for a number of clients such as book publishers or advertising illustrations for magazines. I thought it would be easy to create a postcard due to its purpose as delivering with a basic theme of demonstrating my abilities in art, with the use of media that I normally use for my final outcomes which is drawing and editing onto photoshop. The postcard image is quite ambiguous like it was advertising a poster, by comparing two different compositions together, using the same media for the same purpose to describe and advertise a message

This image is the back of the postcard with the title of the postcard image on the front, using typography to merge the title with the theme of a rainbow and contact details of telephone, email and blog website. Even added a patch of yellow paint which I scanned from the paint collage that I made in my sketchbook.

Fantasy Star Constellations

  This was my last final project that I produced in university before graduating. It is based on imaginative fantasy star constellations from what I see and imagine in the night sky and how it  could be used to bring others into the world of stargazing.   It's a scene of fantasy water creatures rising  to the surface  and flying creatures reaching to the top of the sky. All placed on a MDF board with drilled holes to place some blue and white LED lights from behind to produce the scenery. I also created a small little booklet as a guide to describe the origin and structure of each constellation. The idea out of all of this is to  introduce  children into the world of stargazing and to help develop their imaginations in years to come.

The Journey

In college I had an animation project based on animated videos on You Tube and found some interesting videos of cut out horses. So I thought it would be a good idea to base my video on a theme about horses since horses are quite difficult to draw I thought it would be a real challenge to produce a video about them called the Journey.
