Editorial Illustrations and screen prints

These images are part of my editorial illustrations project, based on a scientific article from a magazine called Doomsday. Using the media of collage from magazine pages, torn and placed together to form an image, the other elements in the picture were drawn, painted and edited onto photoshop. One side of the image shows the positive outcomes of wind energy with the wind turbines and the environment with the amount of trees. The other side shows the negative outcomes of pollution with the factory and the population with too many people living on this planet with the number increasing. It's all really explaining the main events that could affect this world that might change from the 19th century to the 22nd century.

My very first screen prints I created are based on my editorial illustrations, but by using different background images and colours. To show that the prints in black are negative and the colourful ones are positive. I even found this new type of printing process quite interesting and yet difficult at the same time. To transfer these type of prints onto screens and inline them with each other in the correct position as well as the background.

These final outcomes are quite hard to see since I only spent a couple of minutes on each one. These ideas are for my biscuit editorial illustration, I only had one week to draw and scan in my final ideas and merge them with the article about having the biscuits in Antarctica, so choosing the right media in time was quite difficult.

Ideas on how to present biscuits

These rough drawings are quite hard to see since I only spent a couple of minutes on each one. These are rough ideas for my biscuit editorial illustration, the reason why there aren't so many sketches is because I only had one week to scanned in my final ideas and merge them with the article about having the biscuits in Antarctica.
